We celebrated with some green eggs, green applesauce for the kid's lunches and then corned beef and potatoes for dinner (which was a BIG hit with everyone).
hahaha so I take it they didn't like the corn beef and potatoes! Sounds like a holiday themed dinner I did for Ben when we were first married....dinner in a pumpkin! It was not good....but Ben was polite and tried to eat it! Love this picture of your cute little kids!
I was surprised that it actually WAS a hit - I thought Sean and I would be eating most of it, but the kids gobbled down the corned beef. I grew up with corned beef and cabbage soup on St. Patrick's day (I think I tried that once since we've been married, but Sean isn't a cabbage guy), so now I just stick to the plain corned beef.
